• Pavilion with restrooms, showers, food.
• Very large, wide beach stretching from ship channel to approx one mile west of the south jetty.
• Good fishing area.
• Lifeguards staff this beach from Memorial weekend to Labor Day weekend. Security is also present during this time. Swimming is not recommended in the areas directly adjacent to the south jetty and is also not recommended in the ship channel. These areas have extremely dangerous conditions. It is recommended to swim in areas protected by lifeguards.
• Umbrella, chair, and boogie board rental available.
• $8/car parking fee inside park. Free parking is available outside the park.
• Designated launch site located directly adjacent to the west entrance (East Beach Drive).
• No swimming or wading near the south jetty or in the ship channel.
